In 2018 UNSW Sydney committed to a Foundation Financial Inclusion Action Plan – an agreed strategy of practical actions to be undertaken to improve financial inclusion and resilience within the university’s sphere of influence.

The innovative FIAP national program has been developed in partnership with the Australian Government, Good Shepherd Microfinance, EY and the Centre for Social Impact and is in the process of scaling up dramatically from the initial 30 Trailblazer organizations.

Explore our experience of developing and implementing our FIAP, engaging with the cross-sector Community of Practice, and the challenges and opportunities of embedding committed actions into business-as-usual activity.
